Paediatric chiro, physio & exercise physiology in Williamstown

Gentle, individualised care to help kids move, grow, and thrive. From newborns to teens, our AHPRA-registered team supports children of all ages and abilities through chiropractic, physiotherapy, and exercise physiology — with over 28 years of combined clinical experience.

Chiropractic

Gentle, low-force chiropractic care tailored to babies, toddlers, and growing kids. Led by Dr Greer Watson, one of the few qualified Paediatric Chiropractors in Melbourne with over 21 years of clinical experience and a Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Paediatrics (DICCP). Sessions support healthy development, ease musculoskeletal tension, and help children move more freely and comfortably.

Common reasons parents choose chiro for their kids

  • Colic, reflux, or unsettled behaviour
  • Feeding difficulties and latching problems
  • Plagiocephaly (flat head) or torticollis (neck tightness)
  • Birth trauma (forceps, vacuum, caesarean delivery)
  • Growing pains or postural discomfort
  • Milestone delays or developmental concerns

Physiotherapy

Hands-on physiotherapy to support kids through every stage of physical development, from first steps to sports injuries. Led by Palak Amin, a dual-qualified physiotherapist and exercise physiologist with APA Level 2 Paediatric Physiotherapy certification. Whether your child is meeting milestones a little late or needs help building strength, balance, or coordination, our physio care is practical, engaging, and goal-focused.

Common reasons families book physio sessions

  • Delayed gross motor skills (rolling, crawling, walking)
  • Toe walking or gait abnormalities
  • Poor balance, coordination, or core strength
  • Torticollis and plagiocephaly in babies
  • Sports injuries (Sever’s disease, sprains, overuse injuries)
  • Hypermobility and joint instability

Exercise physiology

Structured exercise physiology programs designed to help children and teens build strength, improve mobility, and develop long-term physical resilience. Our sessions are personalised, goal-focused, and evidence-based – with measurable outcomes tracked at every stage. We’re also NDIS providers (plan-managed and self-managed).

Common reasons kids see an exercise physiologist

  • Sever’s disease (heel pain) and sports injury rehabilitation
  • Strength and conditioning for young athletes
  • Hypermobility and joint instability
  • NDIS-funded exercise programs
  • Chronic conditions (diabetes, asthma, chronic fatigue)
  • Post-injury return-to-sport planning

Conditions we support

Every child is different, and so are their needs. Our team supports children with a wide range of physical, developmental, and neurological conditions – from mild concerns to more complex challenges. These include colic and reflux, plagiocephaly (flat head), torticollis (wry neck), feeding difficulties, growing pains, Sever’s disease, toe walking, scoliosis, and postural imbalances.

We also work closely with children who are neurodivergent or living with disability, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, retained primitive reflexes, or low muscle tone. Whether your child is recovering from a sports injury, struggling with coordination, or needs NDIS-funded support with mobility and strength, we’re here to walk alongside your family.

Our approach is gentle, collaborative, and neuro-affirming – helping kids feel comfortable and confident during care.

Questions families often ask about our services

Choosing the right paediatric care for your child can raise plenty of questions. These are some of the most common ones our team hears. If you don’t see your question here, get in touch.

It depends on the condition. Many babies with colic or torticollis show improvement within 3-6 sessions. Sports injuries typically respond within 8-12 weeks. Developmental conditions may take longer. We set clear goals at the start and reassess progress regularly so you always know how your child is tracking.

We understand family logistics can be tricky. Parents and carers are always welcome and encouraged to be present during sessions. Siblings may attend by arrangement, especially if it helps with your child’s comfort and engagement.

Yes. We take a neuro-affirming approach and tailor every session to your child’s sensory needs. Our team has experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and other neurodivergent presentations. We adjust lighting, sound, pace, and touch based on what your child needs to feel safe.

We take a gentle, patient approach and build trust gradually. Bring your child’s favourite toys or comfort items. We’re happy to chat on the phone beforehand to ease any worries, and we never force treatment – if your child isn’t ready, we adjust our approach.

Absolutely. Our physiotherapy and exercise physiology teams regularly help children improve movement skills, prevent injuries, and build confidence for school sport, club teams, and everyday physical activity. We also provide return-to-sport planning after injury.
