These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients of Williamstown Health Hub for Kids. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.

1. Our services

We provide paediatric allied health services including chiropractic care, physiotherapy, and exercise physiology. Services are delivered by qualified professionals, and all care is tailored to the individual needs of your child.

We aim to provide care that is respectful, evidence-informed, and neuro-affirming. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, and we follow all relevant health regulations and professional codes of conduct.

2. Bookings and appointments

Appointments can be booked online, over the phone or in person. By making a booking, you agree to attend at the scheduled time or give appropriate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

We’ll do our best to send appointment reminders, but it’s still your responsibility to keep track of bookings.

3. Cancellations and missed appointments

We understand that things come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you give at least 24 hours’ notice.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or you miss the appointment without letting us know, a cancellation fee may apply. This fee is not claimable through Medicare or private health.

We may waive the fee in special circumstances, please contact us to discuss.

4. Fees and payment

Our fees vary depending on the service and practitioner. You’ll be informed of the current rates when booking, and we’re happy to provide a fee schedule upon request.

Payment is required on the day of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS, credit/debit card and eligible Medicare or private health claims via HICAPS.

If you are an NDIS participant, please let us know your plan details so we can determine billing arrangements. We currently only accept plan manager and self managed clients.

5. Consent to treatment

Before starting any service, your practitioner will explain the proposed care and gain your informed consent. You’re always welcome to ask questions, say no, or request a different approach.

We also respect your right to withdraw consent or stop treatment at any time.

For children under 18, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

6. Privacy and confidentiality

All personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian privacy laws.

We will never share your information without consent, unless required by law or in an emergency.

You can request access to your health records or ask for corrections at any time.

7. Your responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your child’s health
  • Treat our staff and practitioners with respect
  • Follow reasonable clinical recommendations (or let us know if you’d prefer not to)

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if these expectations are not met.

8. Website use

The content on our website is for general information only and should not be taken as medical advice. Always speak directly to a qualified health professional about your child’s needs.

We do our best to keep website content accurate and up to date, but we make no guarantees about its completeness or reliability.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience, we’re not responsible for their content or policies.

9. Limitation of liability

While we provide care to the highest standard, Williamstown Health Hub for Kids is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of our services or website, except where required by law.

You agree to use our services at your own discretion and understand that healthcare outcomes can vary.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

By continuing to use our services after changes are made, you agree to the updated terms.
